Today's Tip

Proper Pedaling Begins With Proper Foot Placement - Keep in mind that if you're using the wrong size toe clips or have your shoe cleats misaligned, no amount of seat adjustment will make you pedal optimally. Set up your shoes, cleats and toe clips so that the balls of your feet rest directly over the pedal axles (centers) when you're riding. And make sure that the angles your feet rest on the pedals match your natural foot plant when walking (knee discomfort indicates misalignment). We're experts in bicycle fit. Ask for help if you're having trouble making this important adjustment.
